maybe in terms of "all-around back"(running, blocking, receiving). As far as total rushing yds go, not yet; he is amazing to watch. Much like Sanders, the defense needs a minimum of three guys to stop him------one to automatically get "juked", the second to slow him down a bit, and the third to assist on the tackle. It was good to see him go to a team and a city that needed a much deserved "breath of fresh air".

All things considered I would say NO. He is not the typical NFL back. He is not going to be the guy who week end and week out gains that 150+ yards rushing. He will not ever be the every play RB who carries the ball 20 to 30 times a game. How the Saints are using him, primarily as a receiver and more of a part time RB, seems to fit his skills and talents nicely.

Time will tell... Many RB's have had a good few years, but couldn't keep it up for the long haul, often due to injuries...

He reminds me of a quicker less powerful Brian Westbrook. I don't think he is the heir apparent to Barry Sanders, but I think the way Payton is using his is perfect. It's definitely his niche.

Yes. They have been bringing him along slowly and McCallister will eventually be traded/released/phased out, meaning even more carries. He has all the tools.

He improves every week. If he can stay health he will become one of the best of all time.

hell yeah, that dude look like a barry sanders reincarnate, that dude is a monster, i'd make him a slot receiver though, his speed and strength after the catch or when he beats you to the outside is amazing.
