there have been studies over the years and certain characteristics continue to come up for certain people, so in answer to your question I'd say, Yes, but only generally and to a certain extent. Remember that each person's birth date, time, which generation (time changed during the war, or times don't change in all parts of the world for daylight saivngs time) part of the country, rising sign and the sign of how people see you, plus you have to add in retrogrades and such and check the afemerus for which planets were where before you can even start to make any determination about a true horoscope. Why not go into the search engine and look for a "free wheel horoscope report" and see how the wheel is broken down into the different houses and give that program a try. Note that the horoscope websites usually state that this is for entertainment purposes only, which means not to take them seriously...so, have fun. former President Regan's wife used to use an astrologer and that astrologer predicted Pres. Regan would get shot and when. So people in high places do believe in readings. I once knew a psychologist, a well known and respected lady in town who not only would do readings for people all over the world but would also mix her psychology, handwriting analysis and horoscope readings together and do seminars on those, and she was "right on".

Yes, but; To read only ones Sun sign, ( Newspaper,Horoscope) is to use Astrology, in it's weakest form.
So to think people can be accurate with a newspaper horoscope, would only be right, about 1/12th of the time.To use a complete Astrological chart of the exact time, and location of birth, is absolutely always constant.
Astrology is a (communication) system a perfectly logical system that's often described as equal parts "science" and art. Whatever you call it, it works. Honest.
So it's not about believing. It's about (communication) understanding yourself, and others better. About drawing parallels between the movements of real planets in our universe, that follow precise mathematical orbits.
If you have an open mind, and want to learn a brand knew way to (communicate) in a language that will fascinate, befuddle, educate, and enlighten you. Then explore for yourself, and other peoples, a new language.Remember belief is not required, an open mind is.
I'm Sagittarius; Sun Leo; Moon Gemini; Ascendant; If you want to explore for yourselves go to Astro.com enter your information and progress from Horoscopes to detailed Astrology.
P.S. I rarely read my chart until the end of the day. This way I don't place any expectations on how it should be, and miss opportunities for growth in the moments.

You haven't been reading and noticed how specific to you personally the horoscope prediction for you has been? You haven't paid to have a personalized horoscope?
Sorry, but it's all too generalized to mean anything truly to anyone. I laugh when I read what I am supposed to be like. I don't match my sign at all . . . but wait, I am told I have to go by my rising planet at the time of birth so then I need to read two of the group descriptions instead of one, etc., etc., etc. The horoscope is real if you adjust your life to make the predictions come true.

They're not true. It's been put to the test numerous times and not once has any evidence been forthcoming to suggest that there is any truth in them.
For my part I once published the 12 horoscopes written by a leading astrologer but deliberately printed them under the wrong star signs. Readers were asked to rate them for accuracy and the results were exactly the same as when they had been published previously under the correct star signs.
It's all about people wanting to beleive them and reading things into them.

Your horoscope does not lie, yet you did not read so far you are concerned and enthusiast, your second house is sorrow and distress of emotion, you need to know your woman does love you even if she does not say it all, and she might have said she does intend to. A major trait of yours is deliverance of necessities, you need to control your budget and perhaps send some to your sister, though must as well await and save some for your children, perhaps two or one. He or she will be very smart if an only child.
You need to forget about love and get to being cute and insincere, this is to avoid traffic control and become a little intolerant and concerned with your own household.
You are needed in your parents town and might get a job offer there, if you do not show it could be better if you have a brand new car in some three years. This makes sense to you? Your wife is everything you are to dream about a girl, you lucky rascal. Bye.

Depends on your days.
Once my crush had started ignoring me for no apparent reason and then they started bad rumors about me. I didn't read the newspaper that day, but I read that day's horoscope the next week and I was shocked because it for-casted that someone I knew would be distant and "defame" me.
It works sometimes

I think a good, custom horoscope by a good artisan speaks a lot about a given person.

All the time people dismiss astrology because of horoscopes... but that isn't real Astrology...
Astrology is accurate in my experience. It's actually based on data.
Horoscopes are NOT Astrology.
