Harmony was my first guitar got for my 16th b-day
at 17 I bought my first bass it was a Peavey T-40 bass
and at 21 I bought my first Fender HM IV bass, that I've been playing
for 9 years now.

My very first - technically - was a PLASTIC Gene Autrey guitar! I played the thing so religiously that my parents bought me a Gibson Melody Maker (a classic). From there, I went to another classic; a Mosrite Ventures Model, then many, many others....

a strat copy. good for under $100 and half decent sound to learn on. you don't need somethign fancy just starting out.
