Can anyone give me some ideas about how would you spend your wedding anniversary on a low budget? We're working on getting out of debt, so basically we don't keep much money for ourselves. I am looking for fun things to do that don't cost a whole lot. Be nice, please. :)

Play pretend... pretend your are on your honeymoon, put clean sheets on the bed do up your bathroom, put chocolates on your pillows, light some candles. Order a take out within your normal budget, or make something in advance so you do not have to do much to put dinner together.
If you have kids ask a friend to look after them for the night and return the favour for them sometime soon. Have a bath together or shower and let the evening/ day take its course. The most important thing is to spend time loving each other. It doesn't have to be anywhere fancy. Talk about plans you might like to do on your anniversary when you are debt free, it may keep you encouraged to stick with... Have fun
Have a Happy anniversary

We were going thorugh the same thing last year and we went out to dinner (inexpensive restaurant) and to the movies before 6pm (cheaper tickets) we didn't exchange gifts for the same reason, went for a walk. We had a friend keep our son for the night(no charge!) and we went home and had a great evening. Bubble baths..massage and well you get the idea. Nice and romantic but only spent like $50.00. Good Luck and Happy Anniversary!!!

Go to the nearest biggest city and rent a hotel room for a couple of days. Bring some candles and order food in or go to an inexpensive resturant for dinner. Offer to pamper him the first night (massage, etc) and then it is your turn to be pampered the next night. When you come home, you will feel relaxed and refreshed.
Happy Anniversary!

For me and my fiance, I know it's not a wedding anniversary, but for our anniversary, we had a nice AT home candle light dinner with soft music playing, danced in the kitchen and watched some movies, it wasn't the most extravagant event but I wouldn't have change it for a minute!! It was the best night we have spent in a long time and it wasn't expensive at all!!

This time of year always brings alot of fun winter activities.
You could go on a horse drawn carridge and sip hot chocolate/coffee.
Take a walk around the neighborhood holding hands like teenagers do, and look at all the lights.
(OF COURSE you must stop frequently to kiss)
Go to the park and play on the jungle gym, and have a little picnic with hot chocolate, sandwiches, and candles.
Go ice-skating, and make sure you have lots of clothes on in case you fall down.
Then when you get home after it all, serenade your sweetie with candles,Barry White music, and love-makin'.
Happy Anniversary!

What's so important for wedding anniversary??? It's what's in both your hearts that counts. Simply, spend the day together, making your own meal, brew your own tea, watch cheezy TV shows and snuggle together.

There is no better way to start a new year together then to stay home together, watch movies, and have sex. And it doesn't cost anything.
