People say that because after they go out into the workforce and have real responsibility, reality hits them. I had my son at 16 and before he was born was the best times of my life because I was free. Reality didn't hit me until my mother died when i was 22, then responsibility set in. Had to go to college to get some skills and work full time to support us. I have good times now too, he's 20. But I missed a lot of opportuntities that I couldn't achieve due to that fact.
The phrase I hate is "It is what it is" I hate that because it's so damn true.

College was not the best years of my life...close but no...preschool was...man that went by so fast! Hanging out with my buds, coloring, jammin to Pop Goes the Weasel...good times good times! LOL

i hate that phrase that goes "once a _______ always a ________".
whatever people use to fill in those blanks, the bottomline is still the same: people cannot change even if they want too. i totally disagree with that. i believe in giving people second, third and nth chances. what we did in the past should not necessarily dictate what we would/could do in the future.
