God created it, but we can't say that because mention of God might offend someone. The "soup" theory offends me, but no one seems to care.

The 'primordial soup' theory:
The Russian Chemist A.I. Oparin and English Geneticist J.B.S. Haldane first conceived of this idea. Both developed this theory independently in 1920.
The Primordial Soup Theory suggest that life began in a pond or ocean as a result of the combination of chemicals from the atmosphere and some form of energy to make amino acids, the building blocks of proteins, which would then evolve into all the species.
The Primordial Soup Theory states that Life began in a warm pond/ocean from a combination of chemicals that forms amino acids, which then make proteins. This is suppose to happen at least 3.8 billion to 3.55 billion years ago.

It's better to just not think about it. You will be controversial whatever you end up believing. Live in the present and just accept the fact that things are how they are.

My theory is a Texaco restroom.
You know how they don't clean them even today? There was more excuse back before there were living people to do it.
If you don't believe in the Texacoian religion, how do you explain the existence of gasoline?! Of spontaneous combustion?! My car was halt, but now it drives.

it was just there one day. no lol i don't know but there are alot of theories. try looking at old textbooks and in libraries.
