call your service provider...they can help you, i had a friend who got three strikes for not paying for items they purchased on eBay, because they had a broken lap top, their kid spilt chocolate milk on it, and they did not realize they bid on items, and came back to eBay a few weeks later to find their account suspended, and eBay banned their ip address.. they called the place they get their Internet service and somehow got a new ip address. i guess from what they said they can now buy again on eBay?, but because they got banned ebay wouldn't let them buy from them anymore, i guess ebay tracks the customers by their ip address, and somehow they track you from your computers history, or something like that?point being.....i think that you can not just change it by yourself, your ip address is like your home address for your computer, and not being an expert on the subject, i was told the internet company you use can help you? i think? i hope that helps? i think you can also buy a contract from a internet company and they like mask your ip address and use several ip addresses of their own, i don't know how or why they do this, but maby it is for people who do not want anyone to know their ip address, i think they bounce their signal and no one can locate you or your computer, is there a spacific reason you want the ip address changed? if it is security, then look up ip address blockers, maby you can find a company like that one but i think they charge you money to use their service? hope that helps? good luck...........................ps. the person above is correct the proxy can help!....they are correct....

You cannot actually change your IP (unless you use a dialup connection, which gives a new IP every time you connect), but you can mask it i.e. hide it. It works like this:
You connect to a proxy server, then when you visit a website, it actually is the proxy server who visits the website (giving the website it's IP) and then you download the page from the proxy server! So in this why you can hide your IP.
Search google for proxy servers.

Are you talking about the ip address of a specific network card, a computer, or the ip address of a router, or the ip address assigned to you from your isp (internet provider)????????
