who wrote/sang the songs a 'dedicated follower of fashion' & the other one is 'stuck in the middle with you'. i think the stuck song was steelers wheel but me mate finks it was gerry rafferty?

Gerry Rafferty WAS the lead singer and song writer for Steeler's Wheel. So on that one you are BOTH right.

"Stuck in the Middle with You" was written by Joe Egan and Gerry Rafferty. They were both members of Steelers Wheel.
"Dedicated Follow of Fashion" I believe was written by Ray Davies of The Kinks.

Steelers Wheel - Stuck In The Middle With You, i can't ever remember 'Gerry Rafferty' recording 'Stuck In The Middle With You', but might have somewhere along the way, to my mind one of his best songs was 'Baker Street'.
