the word "pomme" is french . it means "apple"

Hi,
Not sure if you ment to spell pomm or pom. If its ment to be Pom then some people say POM is stort for"Prisoner of Mother england" and Urban Legend theorists say it's short for Pomegranate, because the fruits "redness" matched the Brits complexion.
