Yes, I've never been on it before. Methadone is usually prescribed for people with herione addictions.... but it proves to be addicting itself. The best thing.........don't start. Best of luck to you.

well,methadone is used as an alternative for heroin users,
but its given per daily dose,and the amount of intake is determined ,when you start the treatment ,and tell the
nurses how you have felt ,so they can adjust the doses,
any way is as addictive as heroin,but at least it let the person
who's on treatment feel good,and able to perform at a more
better life,work,interact with relatives, friends and all things that are considered 'normal' in a society,in terms of the advantages
that offer is better than heroin,but yes its equally addictive,and
people who leave the treatment,sad as i say,most probably
they fell back to heroin

I bever had to take Methadone; but several people have reported. It doesn't really help because you are trading one addiction for another.

It is addicting, but if you are getting it from a clinic, they will wean you off of it... but you also have to want to quit.
