I am trying to understand the inner workings of this fascinating woman. Instead of influencing the culture with her own work as she did in the 80's, she constantly 're-invents' herself to keep up with the times and constantly keep up with today's culture. Yet back in the early 90's when she completely went off the wall she blames her controversial actions as a tounge-in-cheek way of getting back at the media for invading every personal detail of her life. You either want to be in the spotlight and deal with the savage animal they call the media or lie under the radar and lead a reletively normal life. She can't have it both ways.
Now I don't care whether you love her or despise her. My question is to gather people's opinions on why '-re-invents' herself, what happened to the Mo of the 80's, and what's next?
-THX

Madonna is set for life, financially speaking. And so are her kids... do you not think it's anything deeper. Go back to the late 70's, she always had this monsterous ambition. She's already proven everything she needs to prove, she OWNED an entire decade. What is ticking up in that girl's brain?
