I am a DD myself and have been since high school. Started growing in 2nd grade. Your mom is right. It is up to you. You should probably know that you might not be done growing. They could get bigger. Since your breasts are natural, I'm sure that they are heavy. That can cause back pain and problems.
I also understand the teasing. It's not easy being the girl with the big boobs in school. Plenty of unwanted attention, guys talking/looking at your chest instead of looking at YOU, the "jump up and down" thing and the "can you pick up my pencil" thing when you wear a V neck. Until you make your decision, don't let any of that get to you. Kids can be cruel. Just remember that the girls are jealous that you have them and they don't (wish they did) and they boys have raging hormones and are just being ignorant. Ignore them. No matter what you decide to do, don't worry about what anybody thinks or says. The only one that matters is you.

I'd give it some time before you have surgery. You might grow into them a bit more! Plastic surgery like breast reduction is MAJOR surgery and shouldn't be done without a lot of thought. I know you're probably getting hassled at school, but kids get teased for all sorts of things (if it isn't your boobs, it might be your hair, or your teeth... you know what I mean). Just ignore it, or laugh it off or do whatever you can do to not let them bug you.
So personally, I think you're too young for surgery. If you grow more, or still hate them, or even more importantly, they start causing you health problems (like sore backs, etc.) later on, then I'd seriously consider the surgery option then.

You really need to wait till you are done growing.
I feel for you, I really do. I was HUGE in school and teased constantly about my size.
Wait until you are 18-20 and look around for a reputable plastic surgeon that is covered by your insurance.
The site below has loads of information for you and tons of women who experience the same anguish that you have. Click "register" then make a username and password and start posting in the Main Reduction Support Board. Hope to see you there!

i wouldnt worry about it right now your only 14 some women are just more blessed than other women but when your older at least 18 thats usually when a girls body stops growing then if you still want to have it done go for it but i would wait until your 100% sure. there is nothing wrong with having nice big breasts you probly do feel uncomfortable when ppl comment on them but kids are cruel they are lol mean and if you were smaller chested than most of your class mates theyd comment on that too. when some one says something about them just say yeah at least i got them. or something. but as long as they arent causeing back troubles or anything i owuldnt worry about it be glad that you have them alot of girls wish there breasts were bigger than what they are my best friend is 26 with a 34 a and she is always saying she wished she had bigger boobs and saying how ugly her tiny boobs are

If you're 14, then no doctor will give you a reduction yet. Possibly at 18 but more likely 21. I don't know how tall you are but if you aren't tall then I agree it's quite large. Don't get a reduction though unless its for medical reasons (sore back etc.). As you get older, you may actually enjoy them!

You would be surprised to see what a year or two would make for those same people (boys) that call you boobs. I would leave your boobs alone as trust me you will love them in a few years you should only reduce them if they become painful (too heavy) but other than that leave them alone you will see the attention you get will be different. Chin up boobs are good.:)

well i think you are pretty young to be getting a breat reduction.
but i guess you should take everything in to consideration.
everyone gets called names once in a while while being in school.
it is just taunting
having big boobs isn't always a bad thing
i think you should wait a while or at least see a consultant about a breat reduction.

if it really bothers u that much, then do what will make u happy... thats the only good advice that someone can give u. if ur mom says its up to u then take alot of time and think it out before u decide... dont rush into it....... make a list of the cons and pros of the situation.....how would it benifit u or not?..... just dont rush ur decision

If you feel uncomfortable about your breast size than go for it. They might make you wait till you turn 18 though!
