Same thing with my black mollies. It's just normal.

It may be going through a natural colour change. I have black mollies; as babies they looked black but now they have developped some silvery scales.

Other than that, the only thing that might alter the scale colour would be ammonia burn; but usually the scales turn black, not silver. Bring some of your water to the petstore and have them test it (most will do it free) OR invest in a 30$ master testing kit (comes in very handy!). If your ammonia is anything over 0, you may want to look into getting a new tank, doing more frequent water changes, getting more powerful filtetation, or/and having less fish

This is most likely a pigment change.
This is very common in many fish such as goldfish too.

Just watch the behavior, water parameters, and for other signs of potential problems such as the disease columnaris which is common in poor water conditions especially with mollies.

ooooohhhhhhh shuksh :( ..... i had a lot of thoes i had to buy a type of medication, most of them suvived but sone did not they were each 7 years of age

They don't have enough light. It can't reflect color on it's body without light
