I pay about 27.99 for a 36 oz can of similac at the wholesale store. I joined their new addition club on the internet (twice, different names) and receive $5.00 coupons all the time.

Formula is pretty expensive. A can usually ranges from $11.00 and up for the lactose free and no allergy formula. You can get a much better deal if you buy the generic like the Target or Walmart brand. I was afraid that my son would not like the Target brand...but he could not even tell the differance and it saved me a bundle. Good Luck. :)

Depending on the brand and type of formula (soy, low iron, lactose free) the price can range between $7.00-13.00.

Since there are different types of formula, I think it would be hard to give a real average.
