If you're talking all-time, the Redskins have won five championships to three for the Eagles. Not sure what each team's overall all-time winning percentage is, though.
Since the last time the 'Skins won the Super Bowl (1991 season), though, they've only been to the playoffs three times compared to nine for the Eagles.
And for this season, the Eagles are 9-6, the Redskins are 5-10, and the Eagles won both head-to-head matchups.

Eagles are better. Didnt you watch the game last night against T.O and the Cowboys?Jeff Garcia is doing a great job filling in for McNabb. When Donavan gets healthy, and gets comfortable with his team, they can make a Super Bowl run. The Eagles are going to the playoffs for a reason, because they are a good team who is working thier tails off to gain respect around the league after a embarrasment they called a season last year.
The Redskins are really inconsistent. Win one, lose 2. Win 3, lose 1. Win 1, lose 3. They win in small bursts but lose hugely. They clearly have a talented team with Portis, Randle El, Santana Moss, Betts, and they have Joe Gibbs, a coachin legend. But what is different from last year? Oh yeah, Brunell didnt suck and Portis was healthy.
Talentwise, Redskins. But the Eagles know how to work together and use their Depth. There are no real big superstars on the Eagles roster, all their players are average players who wanna win. SO....Eagles are better for that reason and now they have a better record than the over-paid Redskins.

Didn't the Eagles beat the Redskins twice this year? Guess that's makes the Eagles the better team this year.

I rank Philadelphia first then Washington because the Eagles in week one with Vick almost got here decrease back antagonistic to a good eco-friendly Bay Packers crew and Washington did not carry on to a 17 factor lead antagonistic to the Texans who're also extremely good. that's going to likely be exciting to work out the Eagles and Redskins play this season. i imagine they're going to both sweep the Giants and Cowboys interior the dept.

Eagles. However, I am basing this solely on the premise that I really like eagles (the critter), so don't put too much weight behind my opinion when it comes to football.
We are talking football here, right?
