happy valley/lake pleasant area: the nearest schools are boulder creek which is the highschool for anthem, and then there is Sandra day o'connor which is right on happy vally road and 35th avenue. those arent the best public schools, but they arent the worst. they are practically newly built schools but as for their performance level i am not sure. the two schools nearest that area that support the international baccaleureate program is barry goldwater high school (27th avenue and rosegarden) and North Canyon high school. -the first two schools i mentioned plus barry goldwater are in the deer valley school district which you can find that site easily and then north canyon i think is in the paradise valley school district but im not quite sure. those last two schools do not have the best performance level but they do offer the higher level academic programs.
for the person above who said mountain view is in deer valley area, (which i could only see a mountain view high school in mesa, they could possibly mean mountain ridge high school) its not in deer valley area, its in arrowhead area which is west of deer valley.

We did some research before we came here from Mich. Mountian VIEW High is an A+ school, one the highest ratings the AZ public school system can get. It is in the Arrow Head area 67th ave and DeerValley area.

UR Right. I mean Mountian Ridge in the Arrow Head Area

I've done a lot of research, try to get into Deer Valley, Peoria, Paradise Valley, or Scottsdale districts. Sorry I don't know the eastside since I would never consider moving there.

You can review schools at:
http://www.greatschools.net/modperl/go/AZ
This site allows you to search my area and lists public & charter schools along with their academic ratings and other details. Even allows side by side comparisons and parent reviews.
