The main difference is inside... It cannot be spotted with the eye from the outside of the purse, if it is very well duplicated. You need to look inside for the control number. There should be an authenticated tag inside, with a number on the back of it. If there isn't one, then yours is likely a fake. From time to time you can notice the material on the outside, different from that of a real LV. Also, the material on the inside could be different. Remember these are very expensive purses, so theyre not going to make the inside from something that feels "cheap" or like paper.

I think when you look at the tag of a fake Louis Vuitton purse it doesn't have the logo and the name would be misspelled.

It's in the details. Sometimes the little "feet" are omitted at the bottom. Sometimes the zippers look the same but just are cheaper. Sometimes the leather is just thinner and wears poorly. Sometimes the finishing isn't complete (strings start hanging because the leather wasn't rolled in completely before being sewn).
Basically you will start to see a steady decline if you buy a fake. You may as well throw away your $100.. be very careful with your money.

Mostly nothing.. I have both and the only difference i see is the logo and a mis spelling of the name....Also the knock off is a bit...meh.
But really to the untrained eye there is no diffrence and most people are just as impressed by knock offs....pfffft

the inside of the purse has a tag with a number, the inside is really soft leather and if its fake the name is spelt wrong and the logo will be slightly different like backwards or not there, different letters ext.

there's not much difference at all you can't tell the difference i have a real one and my friend has a knock off one and they look identical except for the registered trade mark symbol (the R with a circle around it) but you can't tell the difference
