Can anyone recommend a good pair of boots? I need something that I can wear under jeans or with a skirt. Classy not slutty. Also, I have some ankle problems so I need arch support and comfort. Something I could wear for hours and be ok. I'm shooting for under $50 if possible.

Ever think about a pair of Bates 11" side zippered paratrooper boots with the lug soles? Smart looking and they take a great spit shine.

A pair of hiking boots which I know have great ankle support. There are some classy looking ones around.

Uggs or the Juicy Couture White boot, just came out. Super cute. But both are like triple 50 dollars. Try Dr. Scholls perhaps, or maybe like Payless or Marshalls. Sounds weird, but they have good shoes for even better prices. Good luck. You could always pick some boots and buy insoles!

i like ballet flats...they are comfy and pretty
my favorites are the ones that have a small bow on the toe of it.
you can get cheap ones from payless (wouldn't really recommend that though...they don't have the best quality and it could hurt your feet)
or you could get a nice pair just at macy's...i got some very pretty ones from macy's that were only around 30-40 dollars...i love them!
oh and they go with both pants and skirts
but i don't know if you are only looking boots? still i would recommend ballet flats !!!

Montrail Olympus, if you're into some distance backpacking.

I happen to like Montrail boots best. Montrail hiking shoes are also excellent. Mine make me feel as if my stride suddenly got 10% more powerful. Feet just somehow want to GO.
