I limit myself to bringing my own pop (soda) to the office instead of using the vending machines and/or drinking the free coffee or tea that the company provides. Why go to Starbucks or Dunkin Doughnuts? Bring a thermal mug from home if you have to. Those $2-$3 breakfasts sure add up. For lunches I will either bring a frozen entree that I get on sale at the grocery store for $1. They aren't alot of food but that's okay for lunch. I also bring my own chips from home instead of the 50 cent bags. I can ziplock several small sized bags from a large sized bag and they stay fresh. I usually stick to $1 or so for lunch... can of ravioli, package of ramen noodles, a sandwich from home, leftovers, or the 99 cent side salad from Wendys that I will pick up the night before. When I cook things like stuffed shells or something where I have lots of leftovers I stick them in the freezer so that I am not eating the same things day after day. Variety is the key. You may also want to talk to co-workers about lunchtime potlucks if you can get 3-4 people together to take turns on providing lunches for the gang. Surely every one would be good with the idea of only having to pack one lunch a week but make sure the group is reliable. Your little group can also swap coupons from the paper, magazines, buying in bulk and co-opping (is that a word?) and whatever you can do to work together on money issues. If your company has an extra shelf in the office, why not arrange for a little library where you swap favorite books and magazines? You guys can even buddy up on diets or stop smoking or going out to walk on lunchbreaks. You don't have to be the best of friends to do things together to save money together. Why not buy one of those $30 entertainment coupon books for your area with 5-6 people splitting the costs. Each person would put in $5-6 and get tons of buy one get one offers for local restaurants. These are just a few ways to get others in your office together to help you help them by helping each other. Bring muffins, yogurt, puddings, fruit, chips, or whatever for snacks instead of hitting the vending machines because those 50 and 60 cent items can sure add up.

Bagels and cream cheese are a cheap and easy breakfast. Also, sometimes bringing a nutri grain bar to work for that time between breakfast and lunch when your starving helps.
For lunch, I usually pack my lunch the night before. I buy a loaf of bread and 2 different types of lunch meat, a couple tomatoes and some lettuce. I pack a sandwhich and bring along a small fruit cup or pudding. Only eat out about once or twice a week. If you're real low budget, get a can of tuna for .50 cents and that'll make 2 days worth of lunch. Raemen is another good quick lunch but not too filling, may need to pack something along with it. But for soups, many companies like Campbells makes the chunky soups which are really filling and only about $2.50 a peice.
Eating out cost too much, you waste gas driving to and from, plus just breakfast alone can be $2-$5 a day, and lunch can be $5-$10 a day on average, working 5 days that like wasting $35-$70 a week, not including the gas wasted. If you do step out for lunch, share carpooling duties with someone.

First, eat breakfast at home before leaving for work. A bowl of cereal at home or a granola bar on the way to work if you are running a little late. Take lunch with you that you have made at home. The cost of take out is exorbitant in comparison to what you can fix and take with you to work. Meals from home are also healthier and less fattening than take out fast food.

You can save a lot just by packing your own meals and taking them with you. IF your strapped for time in the morning (like us all) then pack it up the evening before so its all set to go in the morn.
Also, if you are going to get lunch/breakfast get it to go and bring your own drink to save a buck.
If you are going to a dine in restaurant stick to the lunch menu or specials, order water to save a bit more. Avoiding these type of restaurants is best though.

Brown bag it for lunch. Bring your own coffe/tea/drink of choice or use the water cooler.
If you have access to a microwave and refrigerator you can even bring leftovers from dinner the night before.

set your priroties. Check what you eat, which is junk and which one you can do without. Eat healty not junk. What I think is eating this way will be an investment in your health and the money you save on junk will be your reward.:)
