I installed the CD program that came with it, and when I try to access the internet on my psp it doesnt work. I have a cable modem and no firewall yet so i know it isnt the firewall. Sometimes it gives me a message to check the security settings and then other times it says it cannot find an access point or the signal is too weak when im sitting right next to it. Anyone know how to fix this? I also have it plugged in the USB port in front of my tower, does it make a difference if its in the front or th back? I dunno if i have one in back since i have 3 in front

On the botton left side of yoru PSP you see a WIFI sign, make sure the switch is on. Then on the Menu go to the internet, type an address, then it will ask you to be connected to the internet, make a new connectiong. When you find a connection, see if the connection found has a security code on it, if this connection is yours, you have to enter the code. Now if your using AT&T, the code the right below the SN on the modem they gave you. IF you don't have at&t, check your landwired compnay name, go to there website and search for address. Then go to that address and check the code there.

you should use the wifi on the computing device to create a connection to the psp, for that reason allowing the psp to get admission to the internet for the duration of the computing device, with out using a instantaneous router. however, you will could have an information superhighway connection and have it plugged into the computing device. i understand you do no longer choose for it, yet while your psp and computing device the two have geared up in wifi, your maximum suitable wager is a instantaneous routher. And, of path, an information superhighway connection. you won't be able to connect with the internet utilizing wifi on any device if there is no instantaneous router sign available.

Hellllooo? How is your PSP supposed to magically pick up a signal from a little box that demodulates the analog signals from your ISP and modulates them into digital signals that your computer can understand? you need a wireless router.

Do you have WEP or WAP security enabled on your router? if yes then you will have to set the code in your PSP also for it to connect to your wireless router. You also need to have DHCP enabled on the router.
