i mean like, i barely know any people that go there, and its fairly unknown....so whats its deal?

No -- it is not one of the better ones. US News ranks it as a third tier regional college -- which is pretty low.

I'm a proud alumnus of SUNY Oswego. You get a combination of everything: good professors, good parties, lots of bars, lots of activities, the lake (literally bordering the dorms), winter entertainment, proximity to Syracuse.

Trust me it's an awesome school. :)

Not really. I go to Geneseo. Geneseo is the most selective SUNY school. A lot of my high school top 10 graduating class went to Geneseo and they had high grades. Then there is Binghamton. Those are the best SUNY schools!!

A friend of mine went there. He spent two years high, and said it was the coldest place in the world. But he's fine now, so good luck.
