None of those schools are bad.
My ranking is as follows:
Stanford
UC Berkeley
Columbia
NYU
UCLA
UCSD
UCD
UCI
Some might argue about Columbia vs Berkeley in this list. As a Berkeley grad, I have to stand by it.

I went to Stanford...I have a 4.0 in High School and College I got accepted and sought after by 4 of your 8 and turn them down for Stanford...There teachers are excellent and the place is great..I have made so good friends and I have learned alot..Hard courses but it pays off and alot of dr come from there than anywhere elese
