the disk is fine but my XB360 says that it is drity or damaged

it plays other games perfectly except the one i want it to play right now, also the xb360 is new

I would think that your lens might be dirty and can't read the games. Buy a cleaner for it, this happened for my boyfriend's xbox and just completely stopped playing games and gave him the same messages he went to gamestop and bought a lens cleaner for it and it works perfectly now.

how does the top look? the top not being damaged is just as important as the bottom though it is protected better. if the top and bottom are fine it could be the xbox. do you have this problem with other discs? if no, then I would have to say it's the disc. If so and you haven't had the Xbox too long call customer service, complain civily, and they should offer to fix or replace for free. if not, then raise a bit of a fuss and say something like, "My Playstation plays the DVD just fine so I know it's not the disc." I did that with a movie and the they were giving me a hard time but after I dropped the other companies name, they told me to send it to them and they would fix it free of charge.

O lol happens to me just keep opening and closing it just doesnt reconize it maybe you play a diferent game more often?try

get a new xbox
