Don't sweat it. They gave me a violation for asking, "Would you eat a day old wiener from the 7-11?" LOL. When I asked them what was objectionable about that, when I read questions like,"What do I do with a used condom?" or "Can you get DNA off of a condom?" and so many other perverted questions that are obviously "in violation of the community guidelines." Probably some anal-retentive moron reported you. Happy New Year!

you may have to scroll down the whole thing to get to the bottom of what is what, i was offering advice by a book that was good for new thinking because it was a newer addition of styles of conversation and how to interpreter what is being on either side of talking, so i offered it and it was pulled as advertising and i wish i could help people with offering this book but it was pulled as too new and if it was old and out of date it would not have drawn these thoughts from the regulators

I can relate. I got reported for answering a question about Christmas presents. Apparently someone didn't like my response, so they reported me. I had included my age (18) in my response to prevent anyone reporting me. I guess it didn't work...

all it takes is for you to piss off one person. they report you and the automation kicks in and spits out your violation. this is not a free speech site

Maybe it was thought of as trying to use answers as a "chat " room. I don't know. I think there are people who monitor the answers forums.
