Well, I am hetersexual, but I'm positive the rules are the same:
1. trust your gut
2. remember your first impression of her
3. see how she treats her family and friends
4. choose your battles. Don't get upset about dumb stuff
5. openly communicate

In our area, gays can be found in coffee shops, natural food stores, new age stores, local book shops and local artist galleries/venues. Visit these place, look and listen, then join in. Visit a gay bar, but just pick up any of the magazines/brochures that can direct you to local clubs/groups. Try the Unitarian Church. They are very open to the alternative lifestyle. And as for keeping one? Start slowly, build a friendship relationship, never lie or cheat, be loving and kind and be the girlfriend you would love to have....this is a good base for a lasting relationship. Good luck and blessings.

Unfortunately, there is no set way to meet people and you're just going to have to wait for destiny to take it's place. Great relationships are hard to come by but once you're in one, it's the greatest feeling in the world. And if you want things to move along a little faster try asking your friends if they know any single girls who would be interested. I hope this helped!

There's no telling on how you should find someone. It's always timing. It's certain that you'll find someone perfect. No one ever succeeds by sitting on their bottoms.
To keep that "one", you should be moderate in affection, like how people tend flowers. You don't give them too much water or food.
*Don't go on rebound because you might just end up hurting the other person involved.

If you're looking for a "nice" girl why not stay out of the clubs and get involved with gay churches/functions associated with these churches, and check out some gay volunteer groups in your community as this is where more often than not "nice" girls can be found.
Good Luck!

Take your time and get to know her before you get attached. Remember the first few months of a relationship are the "honeymoon" period, if she does something you don't like right away, you can pretty much tell she is not a nice person. Good Luck, there are plenty of nice girls out there.

You have to take your time, just take time for yourself right now.You will meet that special girl one day.You don't want to rush things and find yourself stuck in a rebound relationship because no one really wins in the end.Just concentrate on you,it will make you feel more at ease.

I would first build a frienship and make sure it is ok to build up from there. Say maybe be friends then special friends and then a couple.
good luck
