I don't know but there's this girl at work I really like but the only way I can flirt with her is to be a little mean and she seems to like it. If I'm really nice she barely talks to me. I always have to come up with something mean to say in order to get her to talk to me. Some people are like that for some reason. I don't know why.

Sounds like a major guilt complex.
Sometimes being hurt is the only thing that makes you feel alive.
