Actually, this is one of the simpliest questions ever asked:
The parent came before the child.
The diamond came before the diamond necklase.
Therefore: The chicken came before the egg.

The chicken came first. In Genesis 1:24 is where i got this. It says, "And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so." Therefore, God made the chicken first not the egg. If u don't believe this then i'm sry, u will b pondering this question forever.

It's the egg. Now, you may hate me for why, but I guess it was started with a pterodactyl, which then had this bird, which adapted to the climate a little, and then another bird was born in an egg, where it adapted to the enviroment a little, and this process continues until this one egg comes, and the Chicken we know today pops out.
