Hey, I asked a similar question to this also! But I am not happy, well, I'm not sad or mad, but I'm not happy either. I'm more like 51% content and happy 49% other. I LOVE Christmas because everyone is happy and there are loads of presents and I love Christmas decorations and sometimes the music and all that kind of fun stuff, and now when I think of it, I need to wait about 360 more days until it happens again. Cause everytime before Christmas I get so excited that I go shopping and wrap and make tons of presents and cards (I LOVE LOVE WRAPPING!) and now it's sad cause I need to wait another year until that moment again, I think of it this way: If everyday was Christmas where you open presents and wrap presents and make cards, than Christmas wouldn't be special or unique anymore (birth of Jesus). It's that since Christmas comes only one day a year it makes a lot of people excited on Christmas Eve. Can't wait for next Christmas!

I'm HAPPY that the shopping is done, the gifts have been given out, Christmas dinner is over and life is almost back to normal. Next week I will take down the Christmas tree and decorations. Christmas would almost be just a memory except for when my credit card bill arrives to remind me that I spent more money than I should have.

I'm happy it's over , for the main reason that i've run out of money , now i'm broke, and have the new year to look forward too, with more money being spent as .
Don't get me wrong but for me this years christmas wasn't as enjoyable as the many i've had, but i'll get over it, every else is happy the children are happy and that is truly the main reson for the kids after all, as long as they gotr what theywanted, i'm happy, i cant wait for 2007, for a much better year!

True, Christmas Day is over, but the Christmas season is just beginning. The twelve days of christmas come after the 25th not before and end on January 6. Sorry. :)

I was never really into Christmas as most people know it. When I was raising my children, Christmas became more and more commercialized and expensive. I saw greed and disruption in their lives each year during the holiday season. So, I 'downsized' Christmas and started to promote home-made gifts and encouraged gifts from the heart. I gave each child $20- and told them they had to buy 3 presents; one for their sibling, one for Mom and one for Dad.

Today, we gather together; not for the presents or money; instead for the warmth and fellowship.

And, I guess I am glad it's over.

I worked over Christmas and then went home to find that I have been adopted by a stray kitten, so I guess that something good came out of the Xmas period. So, "YES" to both sides of Your question.
