As long as there are feminists there will be misandrists (man-haters) around. Feminism teaches to despise men.
AJ - No offense, but since you don't live in the US you have no idea what goes on here.

There will always be both man and women haters around, but I must say I hear an awful lot more men talking disrespectfully of their women than the other way around. Most women I meet on the whole would have you believe they are married to a terrific guy even if he is clearly a heel.
Fisherman - This is an american question!?? I don't think so. It is a world wide web out there you know. I think I do have a good idea what goes on politcally in your country. Our cultures are fairly similar and I have travelled a good deal. Feminists just want a fair deal for women.

No, I do not still hate men. I once did, in my younger, less experienced years, but I've since learned that my happiness and peace are not tied to other people. I find that the men I once hated, hold no threat to me now. I think it has something to do with the fact that I realized I can walk away from them.
Hating accomplishes nothing. I accomplish much more in my life as a woman in America by taking responsibility for my own actions and mistakes and respecting the humanity of all others.

I personally don't have all men. I married the most wonderful and interesting man I ever met!
Now answer this: why are there so many women haters around? Rape isn't waning by any means. Men kill their partners in record numbers. There are far more insulting names to call a woman than a man in our language. Women hating seems to be a norm in society. Why is that?

There probably are, but not to the extent that some would have you believe.
And A.J., you're right, all you have to do is look on the "women's studies" forum here to see that there seems to be a lot more women-haters than men-haters. Men who call women "whores," "sperm receptacles" (one of the more creative turns of phrase), men who imply that women deserve and "seek out" abuse...it's quite an eye opener. How often do you see questions by women degrading, insulting, and belittling men? Not NEARLY as often as you see the questions by men that do the same to women. And THEN you see way more men talking about their frustrations at misandry (often the same men who consistently level abuse at women).

I hate men, with probably the very core of my heart. I never had that first fatherly love to establish that men were good and very early on in childhood i had bad sexual experience with men then in the middle teens became depressed and felt that i wasn't loved and men offered money for sex (prostitution) so that didn't help the view. Tried many times to get the fatherly love and validation that i needed and wanted but he's pussy who always backs out, men are scum and dirty dogs who don't appreciate women.

No I don't dislike men because there are some really great ones out there. You can't judge and dislike all men cause that wouldn't be fair.

There are still many man-haters. I am not among them. I do know that they still exist. Don't ask how. Some might hate me.
