You could build your own, or you could buy a replacement from Nintendo for $10 US. I'm certain the sensor bar should work with European Wii systems (only the games and online connectivity is region coded to my knowledge).

Hope this helps!

Yep, I haven't heard of any replacements yet but you could build your own. On a website I saw a video of some smart asses who used to candles to make the sensor bar, and the only problem was that they tried to put it out with water and that is not a good idea with burning wax! But since your's isn't broken, just take good care of it and tape it together if you do break it, and maybe in the near future Nintendo will offer replacements.

First verify that's thoroughly plugged in to the suitable socket. Then make certain you're to no longer close or to a procedures and you're pointing on the sensor bar no longer the television. If it nevertheless does not paintings pass the sensor bar to the precise of the television if its on the backside or any opposite direction around. wish I helped. :]

The Wii's Sensor Bar is nothing more but two Infrared LED flashlights.

You could build one on your own, or get/buy a home made one, or buy one from Nintendo or a third party manufacturer.
