If I go at night, It is around $7, but if I take in one of the matinee, then I can pay $4.
Since the theater's income is based on soda, popcorn and candy sales, I go for the biggest I can get.
We have very little entertainment in my small city of 7,500 people, so we try to support what we have the best way we can.

I chose, long ago, to no longer go to movie theatres due to their outrageous prices to get in, and then for refreshments. But then, I'm an "old timer" as my son sometimes calls me, and I tell him about how I once had a date with a girl in college and I took her to the first running of "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid", AND cold drinks and popcorn, and a visit to a drive in hamburger joint, all for $10.03. But then, that was then and now is now, and I'd never go to a theatre to actually PAY to watch the sheeiiiitttttttttttttt they have on the tiny little screens they use in these multiple theatre buildings. HAH!!! No way! I do miss those days though, but, that's reminiscing. Oh, and gasoline was 20 cents per gallon. God Bless you.
