I've been best friends with this girl since we were 10 and we're now 20, she resently started inviting me to her house parties, only to have a go at me and make everyone there think i was number 1 cow. i stopped talking to her and put up with bitchy coments for about two months, only talking to her when she insulted my bf's best m8.
last week she called me saying she was pregnant and needed to talk to some1 who really knew her so i let her back into my life. she claims its my bfs best m8s baby (who's her ex). she txt me the other night at 3 am, saying can i get hold of david (d father) she thinks she's lost the baby. i dutifluy go n wake the house up n tell david, only 2 get a txt a few hrs later saying the doc's will tell her if she's lost the baby or not nxt week when the blood tests come back!!! i'm pregnant too so i kno they tell u right there n then if u've lost it. she now emailin n txtn me asking me 2 go wiv her 2 the scan, what should i do?

She's not even preggers, never was. She lied about it to keep David in her life and to make you feel sorry for her. She is a game player and a mind bender. Get rid of her NOW!!! She will only make your life worse.

It does sound as though she's looking for attention.
As you're pregnant, you need to decide whether you want to get dragged into this drama with your EX-best friend. Or whether you're better off not getting involved.
If she was pregnant and lost the baby, she'd know. She'd have cramps as her body pushes the rejected fetus out and there would be bleeding. She wouldn't need a blood test to confirm it. I don't know where you live, but where I am, blood tests for pregnancy generally come back the next day.
You say that "i'm pregnant too so i kno they tell u right there n then if u've lost it". I think you know she's faking it.
Just come up with some excuse to not come to the scan... or you could go to just confirm the truth and not have to hear anymore lies from her.

from what I've read, she's put enough drama into your life already. you're right: she's using you. sometimes girls use each other as an attempt to get attention. unless you want the drama to continue, do NOT help her again. she will only walk all over you like she has done in the past. you have a baby to take care of. that can be stressful enough. in fact, in some cases, high stress levels can cause women to miscarry.

shes obviously looking for attention, sounds like you know shes lying, tell her on the phone you want her to leave you alone and for her to get on with her own life, dont let her drag you into this mess. it sounds like shes lying so i would cut her out, as you will soon find out in a few months time if she is really pregnant as she would then show, so you could appologise then if you wanted to, i very much doubt that she would show if shes lying! and dont go to the parties she has, theres plenty of others, and you dont want to end up in a fight or something when your preg. can i ask if you were preg first? then she decided she was, am i right? if so attention seeking and jelous of you

DO NOT GO WITH HER. After she insulted you at her parties, she's looking for support?! She deserves no more chances and no longer should be involved with your life. You need to get this girl away from you!!

You are not obligated to help her. You have to do what's right for you. Worry about yourself and your baby. If she is stressing you ignore her.
