the habs will not knock them down...
the sabres have amazing teamwork...and 2 AMAZING GOALTENDERS!!! miller is #1 in the all-star voting right now and biron was hoping to get traded bc he is so good and worth that much...he is probably the highest paid backup in the nhl...but he is that good...
lindy ruff was coach of the year...(amazing coaching)
briere, drury, afinogenov, campbell, tallinder, vanek, i could keep going...
peters is the best instigater in the nhl...and pretty good at fighting
you think you have the best fans? did you have a full, sold-out arena after a devestating snow storm that knocked out power in the entire area, people leaving flooded basements to go watch the sabres, risking driving during the driving bans to get there...are your jerseys still available on nhl.com or are they so far back ordered that you might not be able to get one until next season? i didn't think so...the sabres are the only team that can say that...
tickets are impossible to come by...
and you say you have the best fans?????????
oh and as far as rankings go...buffalo is still #1 in the eastern conference...with atlanta in #2, not the habs...oh in the league rankings...anaheim is the only team in front of buffalo...i believe there are 5 teams in front of montreal...including buffalo...

I'm going to be yelled at because Sabres fans always get pissed when you point this out to them: THE RECORD IS INFLATED a ton of wins by shootout and 4 on 4 overtime dont mean squat come playoff time. The stars had 13 extra wins last year as a result of the shootout and look what happend to them 3 losses in OT out in the first round of the playoffs. Don't cancel possible plans thinking you are going to the cup finals.

Sabres are rockin' but Habs are gonna knock em' down!!! haha
The Habs are amazing, great teamwork, 2 great goaltenders (especially Huet), an amazing coach and assistant ( hopefully Bob is hanging in there) :Koivu/Latendresse/Souray/Higgins/Samsonov/Latendresse, you name them...
And last but not the least THEY HAVE THE BEST FREAKEN FANSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Sabres are excellent, but... The habs are right in top of them, OR are slowly becoming the number 1 team in the Eastern division :)

Hmmm the HABS are 4th in the standings and not even 2 weeks ago they were second, so really im not worried
p.s The city is hockey ( speaking about Montreal) that's the team's slogan! everyone at schools, offices, on their cars, winter gear, whatever it is, people are showing their colors for the HABS! Im telling you people, the fans here, you can't beat them. The Bell Center is ALWAYS ALWAYS FULL! nowhere else have I seen Arenas as full as the one in Mtl, tough luck :p
