I have and I think it may be in part to those Guiness commercials that use the word so much, and also perhaps due to Harry Potter, where it is used somewhat.

I know I have found myself saying that I am 'chuffed' with things, and am not really sure how that came about. (I think it was Potter as well as Red Dwarf.)

I think it's a Brit thing.

My ex is a Brit, and he used to say it a lot.

He has one of those "public school" upper-class accents, and I used to love to get him to say "motherf*cker." Sooooo funny!
