It depends on more then hieght other factors that are included in this are age sex and bone mass. Like me Im 5feet 4 inches and weigh 195 pounds but I am big boned so I don't look that bad. I look about I can lose 10 15 pounds mebe. MY advice go see a docter or nuetritionist about this they can give you a accurate answer. No one on this site can give you a correct answer unless they are a licensed docter or nutritionist. The reason I cant give you a answer is because I don't know your bone size. You do not say if you are and adult or teen but i calculated your Body Mass Indexs (BMI). Your BMI is the best way to tell if you are under/over, or normal weight.
Being 5'5 and 140pounds makes you Normal Weight on the BMI scale:
Below 18.5 Underweight
18.5–24.9 Normal
25.0–29.9 Overweight
30.0 and Above Obese
Your BMI is 23.3, indicating your weight is within the normal range for adults of your height.

No, u definately are not even close to being fat. If u think u r fat, then I must be a goodyear blimp because i am 5'4 and I weigh 145, and if u have a firm body with muscle tone, that weighs even more. No u r not fat.

don't listen to that crap about 100-125 pounds as being thin.
look at how you fit in your clothes, if you like it good, if not then do weight loss.
i'm a six foot tall woman and i weigh 230lbs. when im in really good shape i weigh 190lbs. its different for everyone

I'm 5'3 and i weight 130 but I'm not fat... I'm not 2 shinny 2.... but i feel like i am... but they told me that I'm just in a medium... so I'm sure you are 2...

i think thats medium. it wouldnt hurt you to lose a few (max 20) lbs. but all that matters is if your healthy. If you have no problems with your appearance then dont worry about it.
