Sailing into Santo Tomas De Castilla, Guatemale on the Norwegian Sun. Are there any scuba dive operators in the area? Does anyone have dive experience in the area?

Sorry i have no idea. But i think that there are a lot of pretty fish you can see there.

The cruise ship might give some scuba instruction or the resort if you stay at one. These are not the type of training you need to become a certified diver and are good only at the resort or ship.
There might be several dive shops there,check with the cruise line or your travel agent. A dive shop near you may be able to find a dive shop for you and if the shop you go to provides dive trips to Guatemale,they can tell which one they do business with.

Go to www.padi.com and search for any Padi shops located in Guatemala, at the port you will be at. You can do the Discover Scuba course which is a series of skills you learn and then later, if you like it, you can apply some of those dives to becoming a certified open water diver. Just make sure the dive shop/resort signs the card for you if you wish to do that!
