Both those who come top of their school and bottom of school become homeless. In some cases education may be a factor but in most it is attitudinal or due to addiction. In fact nit is a spiritual problem. A doctor becomes an alcoholic and is always drunk, he looses his job, career his family, his home and everything else he values. A 'student' doesn't study and won't come under authority, wants to do his own thing all the time, won't live by the rules at home - just rebellious. He doesn't get anything to value and looses what he has.
Come under proper authority and you will excell and do well in every endevour. You will end up in authority IF you can handle being under it. [Yes, alcoholism is lack of submission to the authority that says 'moderation in all things'.]

school has nothing to do with it...it depends on whether you go out there and find shelter/support for yourself to survive....if you don't do anything then you become homeless (& if there's no one that wants to help you)...even if you don't have a highschool diploma/GED/anything at all, you can still go out there and get a job and survive...it'll just be harder, but does not= homeless

I think homeless people do pretty well in school, remember Joe Pesci in 'With Honors'? He got to live in the boiler room.

its not a school thing. Its life and if you make decisions that lead to any addiction thats how you end up on the street.Even the dumbest smoe can get a manual labor job-that pays well...its just a matter of how determined you are not to live that way

it doesnt matter about how well you do in school.. if you become homeless its your choice or if you really have hit rock bottom and no one to help you or dont want any help.. you will become homeless.

Are you kidding? I'm a uni graduate and I know screw-ups who can barely spell their names who make more money than I do! This is the age of incompetence and intelligence is a disadvantage.
