I have a very hairy vagina, I cant cut the hair as I have a big tummy, is it going to make a problem in delivery. What usually women do?

Don't worry. You are not the first woman to have this ordeal. Believe me they will not think any thing of it. They will take care of it for you if need be.

You can always use an electric trimmer.. does your husband have one? I religiously shave down there and although it is difficult and I sometimes go a few days in between, I can manage it at 9mo.
I usually just squat over a mirror in the shower (use shaving creme on the mirror then wipe it to prevent it from fogging up). I don't really need to see unless I don't want a crooked landing strip.. The rest can be done by touch.

It's normal to be hairy. No they will NOT shave you at the hospital unless you ask them to!!! Who wrote that!! You're gonna be in a lot of pain and pressure. You don't want more irritation. Don't shave it. This coming from a guy, who will never have to go through the ordeal. But I was with my wife for both kids. You're not gonna care about some pubic hair. Trust me. And anyway. hairy down there is sexy.

Most women just leave it the way it grows during pregnancy. it's too much work to cut it with the tummy in the way. A few alternatives however is to have your signifigant other trim the hair for you, or go to a salon and have a brazilian wax. Be warned though, they hurt like a you know what!

You can always go to get waxed.... I can shave over my pregnant tummy.....It depends on how comfortable you are with it whether or not you want to get rid of it. It should not complicate teh birth at all, it is just for you to feel comfortable. Every woman feels comfortable in different ways, just do what is right for you.

They generally don't cut the hair anymore, as having hair decreases the risk of infection. Unless it is itchy, just leave it.

It won't make a difference during your delivery. But if it is bothering you enough and you want it gone you could always go somewhere and get a wax.

Well I'm 37 weeks along, so I clearly can't see down there, but my hubby does it for me. That way, if for whatever reason they need to give you an episiotomy they don't have to do it.

i normally shaved before i got too big to do it myself when i was pregnant, so i had my bf do it for me a week or so before i went to the hospital.

No problem they will shave up at the hospital. But it's better if you do it yourself, lesss embarassing.
