I was talking to a guy when my friend came up to me and said sarcastically to him "Go for it [name], no one else has" because she was angry that she wasn't getting all the attention she wanted at a party. It made me believe that she truly thinks I'm ugly and unattractive but never said so to my face until now. Now she's being nice again. I don't know whether to sever the friendship or not. Or whether to say something to her.

Your first word being "friends"confuses me. This is not a friend. Please do yourself a favor and look friend up in the dictionary, or better yet, the Bible. Read the definitions. See if this person
compares to either of the definitions. I don't think so. Your problem is not what was said by this person. Your problem is your so called "friend". A real friend wouldn't say or do what this person did to you. If she made you think or believe anything, you have the problem, for she is simply jealous of you. Don't let anyone make you feel as she has. She made you feel this way, because you let her. Don't let anyone put you down. Certainly don't take to heart what this so called friend said. A real friend just wouldn't say any thing like this at all. She is not your friend. Ignore her, and others like her. Your life will turn completely around. You'll see.

That doesn't sound like something a real friend would do, friends are supposed to lift you up and be there in your time of need so therefore you should drop him. Apparently he doesn't respect your friendship as much as you. And any one who always tries to put you down it's worthy to be called your friend. You don't have to tolerate such ignorant comments and all that other stuff so yeah drop that zero

If I were u I'd talk to her about it.But then again she may not be honest about it.More than likely she's acting this way 'cause she's jealous over u.Its hard to say what she would be jealous over,it could be a BF u have,or luxery,or popularity,it could be a number of things but I'm sure if u'd really think about it,u just might come up w/the answer.also w/the fact that one minute she's nice & then not,when she's nice again it could be that she's using u for something.Rather to sever the friendship or not thats totally up to the answers u come up w/about her,of why she's treating u the way she is.More than likely from what I gather is to end the friendship.Or otherwise she will continue to stomp all over u & abuse ur friendship.Then u have to ask yourself is the friendship worth saving.

True friends would never put you down, angry or not. It does sound like she was a little bitter that she wasn't the center of attention. I'd first ask her what's the deal? If I didn't like her answer or it appears that this is becoming a pattern I might let the friendship go, if not for good, at least until she realizes that you don't like her attitude.

You may want to confront her first before taking the next step of canceling the relationship. Remember not to use direct words so it doesn't sound like you're accusing her, that may only cause trouble. Instead tell her, "I feel upset when you," or "sometimes I feel like." See what she says then let her know you're not down with her taking her anger out on you. If she can't answer to your feelings as a friend, then maybe she was never a friend to begin with, plus who cares what people think. I;m sure you're a cutie, it's the inside where your personality lies that brings your beauty outside. Don't let people like that get to you, it's not worth your time.

A true friend doesnt put you down. What she did was uncalled for;therefore, I think she may be jealous or just a plain Bit@h. Either way, speak up and dont let anyone put you down. Personally, I would end the friendship but that is totally up to you.
