and how long will i bleed for and how long do u think i should wait before trying again

Hey, when I had mine I bled for about three weeks, but if you had a d&c to help things along, then you may bleed for significantly less time. It is not considered your period, it is the lining of the uterus that was where the placenta attached shedding itself now that it is no longer needed! After I stopped bleeding, two weeks later I had my period. Just as a heads up to you, I got pregnant two weeks after that, and have a beautiful two year old daughter now, so keep your chin up, I know how hard it is. i am sorry for ur loss it takes time for the body to get back to normal and as someone else mentioned it is a very fertile time right after birth or a miscarriage i had a friend who did not have a period for a couple of months after her miscarriage

everyone is different, and the bleeding you are having is the same as the discharge you would have if you'd gone full term, and it isn't a period, and the length is different for everyone and different depending on how far along you were
