Most people who love depressing movies are depressed themselves. You probably have some unresolved issues with a loved one. You can't grow and mature emotionally until you come to terms with these issues. I don't mean you have to forgive whoever this person maybe (if I'm even getting this right), but you need to accept your situation as reality and get ready to move on. This probably won't happen until your in your twenties though. But you should stop watching depressing movies. It's sad when someone like you who brings so much happiness to others is so down on yourself all the time. (sorry I kinda went off on this one, but there are people who don't even know you that care about you).

If watching depressing movies makes you depressed, than what does the fact that I love war/history movies say about me, ???
I have a theory, your numb, and they make you feel, the same reason I like those war and action movies.

Thats so funny, I love them too. I just went movie shopping today because I was in the mood for a tear jerker. Maybe we just need something we can relate to if we're in a depressing mood.

you could no longer swing a lifeless cat with out hitting a tragic romantic movie! the subject is calling a "good" one, appropriate? nicely, you have reported the best ones, and a few no longer so good ones, so i visit signify experience and Sensibility, which isn't unhappy yet neither is satisfaction and Prejudice, and pass on.

So that by comparison, your real life seems a little better than it really is, or maybe a little less bad than it really is.
