I have a buddy that has a 79 chevy, I know if you leave the key on long enough the FASTEN BELTS light goes off and the buzzer goes off, this dosent work for him they both stay on well after the engine is started and the truck is going. they do go off eventually but not when there spost to. anybody got any ideas?

We'll it's been a long time put that thing always drove me nuts.I think if I remember right it's a module that is plugged into the left side of the fuse-box under the driver side .It's about 1/2 wide and 3inches long , if it.s not there let it buzz and put you arm under the dash same location and fell around I know it's there and isn't hard to find. dicconnect from wiring harness and throw in garbage. Then enjoy quietness. [ won't hurt anything being disconnected] Happy hunting.

Yeah. Fasten the seat belts before you start it, then you will have no buzzer, no lights, and no tickets.
