i want to get on live for the 360 and i have a usb ethernet cable.all i need is a cable right?or do i need a ethernet network or something fancy like that.help needed.

If you want to split the connection so you can use your xbox and computer at the same time with the internet, you will need a router.

Other than that, you are set.

all you need is arouter an ethernet cable and an xbox
