Never! It is illegal to even mention it.
From my cold dead hands you can take whatever I have and it sure will not be arms!
One must only bear arms in defense of ones country or for pay if it is trying to steal from another country and that country resist.
Do not ever bring a knife to a knife fight or a gun to a gun fight, just try and reason with whomever is holding. If that don't work just shut up or say yes sir!
Why should you bear arms against your betters when all you have to do is what they want and be done with it.
Go shopping instead!
If Gov says your too dumb to be a doctor by the sixth grade shut up and become a sewer worker, garbage or infantryman instead. Your country knows what is best for you.
If they teach your grandchldren that you are a terrorist for even mentioning the Constittuion ,so what? Being old you will soon be as dead as it is.
If they tell you to bow down and worship a crossed piece of wood do so. Heck someday you may need firewood to keep warm and that way when they question you about it you can truthfully say it gave you a warm and fuzzy feeling and ask for your sin to be forgiven.
Every facet of ones life is too make the country stronger and the way to do that is to help buisness and obey their managment, your elected Representative.
Who knows if you do all of the above you too can maybe someday become an elected Representative or Corporate officer.
Another thing is when you take up arms both you and they get dirty and it takes time to get clean and you may miss out on getting to the 'FRONT" where the real battle is, the line for the next big item in electronic hedonism.
Its a war out there and may the best win.

Never be satisfied with the norm brother, always push for something better, even if the shifting of society will 'upset' some rich white folk. Physical violence though, I wouldn't recomend it unless you've tried and failed at negotioation, then action must be taken. If you live in a legitimate democracy, then you have no choice but to imigrate if you don't like where you live, because one dissatisfied person won't ever change the will of the majority. If you make more than 25 000 US$/ year, then you have nothing to complain about.

Had I lived in New Orleans...it would have happened then.

The "man" confiscated so many guns from people just trying to protect their own property (and selves) it was unbelievable.

But in answer to your question...The day the federal government decides to suspend the constitution in part or whole, without the required ratification from member states.

When all the mud slinging starts on this question, I'd like to remind people that this country was founded by traitors...to the crown. Even though we rightfully consider them patriots in this country.

I can't imagine ever doing it here (US) but I can see why folks in some other places do it.
We vote our own government in & if they do things we don't like there are remedies. In countries that are run after a hostile takeover I can sure as heck see why people would revolt.

When that government actually violates our fundamental rights. Not just because I don't like how George Bush looks on television, or because war is messy. Free nations have lots of better ways to address grievances than revolution.

If I lived in Somalia or Venezuala I would definitly consider it. As a U.S. citizen, I would protest with a pen and not a sword first. I would hope to never have to exercise my 2nd Amendment rights.

I wouldn't hesitate to take up arms against my government if it turned into a dictatorship or was causing harm to its citizens. Such as was what was happening in Iraq. The 2ND Amendment is a good thing.

when they try to take my arms away.
Also, if they don't learn to keep our borders secure, we will soon have to take up arms against Mexico's government, with or without the help of the standing army.
