Whenever i try to watch a full length movie on limewire it says one or more codecs needed to this file. Can anyone help me fix this so it dont have to do this anymore?

Download the K-Lite codec pack, this will fix those problems.

A codec is software to compress or decompress audio or video. (COder/DECoder) = codec

Codec is just a device or program that can encode or decode a signal. What you need is to download the K-lite codec pack here http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm >>>>>>> Make sure you only download the BASIC version only. Install other version like Full or standard may wreck your system if you don't know what you're doing. Always read the faqs and readmne file before doing the installation.

Codecs are something which decodes the video (When people change its format it is encoded differently)

If you install Klite Mega Codec Pack you wont have this problem any more. It will let you play 99.9% of the films you want.

codecs= code. divx codec for example. download vlc media player. opens every file with every codec.
