Lebron James is easily the best player in the NBA right now. Lebron is keeping his team winning when no one else on the team is performing. He just broke the record for the fastest player to reach 7,000 points, about a year a half in front of the next closest person (kobe bryant, who went straight to the NBA out of high school). I mean just look at his stats, almost averaging a triple double, has had 100 games with over 30 points, nobody in the league can defend him. Bruce Bowen one of the best defenders, couldnt stop him. You can make an argument for any of those other players, but lebron is the only person in the league putting up big stats without having another good player with him.

The best is at the top. you put Kobe on the top of the list because you already know that he's the best. Kobe can kill anyone in the league at anytime but he has changed his game for the sake of the team. LBron and Wade are great players but Kobe is on that Jordan level right now. If he takes his team deep in the playoffs and win the title then it is a wrap. Allen Iverson and Carmelo are great too but they just don't have that Kobe instinct. Kobe has grown up and he's about to show everyone that he's undoubtedly the greatest in the league right now.

I would say Lebron and Kobe are the most reliable, but Shaq is the guarantee of a title. Kinda makes basketball fixed if you have a person so big and strong. Some sports are fixable, I guess, and legally so based on their principal.

None.

For this year:
Jason Kidd. On any given night Kidd could get a triple double. He has 6 this year on a team with not much talent nor depth. The next closest player has 1.

Dwayne Wade is an awesome player. He has had a hard past childhood life so i give him credit for everything. I also think he is hot so that's another reason he is the best nba player.
I like LeBron James too. Their both greath athletes.
