All I can find are expansion packs. Could somebody please explain how to do this. Thanks!

Yes you have to have The Sims 2 to get the expansion pack Pets, you need to find the base game it's about forty dollars I believe the base game out right now is called The Sims 2 Holiday Edition do not confuse this with The Sims 2 Happy Holidays Expansion pack. Once you have the base game you can buy any of the expansion packs that you want. Happy Siming!

Yes. Sims 2, if you want, can be downloaded, from what I know, on EA Link. The website is http://www.ea.com/ealink/ . Click the button Get the Link, which is Green, and then proceed through the instructions. When you are done, find your game and download it. Of course, you are going to have to pay for the game with a credit card or a prepaid card, like iTunes.

ya u do! U can buy Sims 2 at wal-mart, future shop, best buy, eb games and any other places that sell pc games. if the store u go to doesn't have the game u can always order it in. :)
