Hey, he's the Big Unit. Hall of Famer. But is he too old now. He did a good job for the Yanks, 17-11. But what will this succeed for a team that did miserable last year. He's in his 18 year going to 19th. Was paid over 15 million last year.

Will this be just another Roger Clemens type chase by the Astros last Season?

They throw venture capital money out to these old guys like candy at a poor hungry peoples festival?

nicely, i'm going to declare it comes in the previous the All-famous individual destroy, despite the fact that it can't be hassle-free with the way he's been pitching, provide up all those residing house runs, these days. The Giants are not precisely the terrific hitting group the two. i'm going to declare he gets a no determination next trip out in Seattle, giving up 3 ER in 6 a million/3 IP, no longer getting adequate run help. he will lose to the Braves, giving up 5 ER in 5 2/3 the subsequent trip. because of the fact this is the Nats, i'm going to declare he gets the win there, going 6 IP giving up 4 ER. despite if he would not pitch nicely, Washington's pitching is terrible, so he has a shot for the win. I say he gets a no determination to the Marlins in his following initiate, giving up 7 ER in 4 a million/3 IP. Than, he gets win #3 hundred against his former group, the Arizona Diamondbacks, on June thirteenth, pitching 7 IP giving up 2 ER.

He's staying in NY. His win% there is good enough for them to keep him. There won't be too much thinking going on about trading him. His era's have been ugly at the Yankees, but like any pitcher, the wins is what really counts to him by the looks of things. Neither Mariners nor Arizona's batting could do the job for him at this age.

I don't see it as a lessening in talent, although his stuff is hit and miss more of the time. I truly believe that it has more to do with his family and why not go back to Arizona? he will be the "ace" there. RJ has nothing left to prove in the sport of baseball. Where will he be starting in the Yankee rotation? 4th? Quite a blow to his career
