wii is better. it gets people off their butts and it's fun for everyone.
ps3 won't be worth anything until the newer generations come out. that could be in 2-3 years.
i all agree that the 360 is the best console. the graphics are excellent and halo 3 and fable 2 are coming out soon for it.

The nintendo wii is more of a console for people that like to play with other people without alienating them because they dont play video games regularly. I believe that if you are a casual gamer looking for some fun occasionally at home then the wii would suit you better. If you are a hardcore, or moderate gamer then go xbox360. The only people that think the ps3 is better than the wii are people who have it. The wii graphics dont hold a candle to that of the ps3, but what the wii lacks in graphics it makes up in fun, fun for everyone. If i could recommend a system it would be the xbox360, the price of the ps3 is just simply too much for a game console period...

Processing power the PS3 beats the Wii easily. As far as games the Wii seems to offer the most fun, but in 2 years I don't think Nintentdo will have the third party support to even challenge PS3. Pricewise the nintendo has a huge advantage over the very expensive PS3. I have all 3 machines but honestly, I enjoy my 360 the most.

I'd say the Wii is more revolutionary. Actually the "Revolution" was what it was called before being named "Wii". I personally think Nintendo should have stuck with Revolution . . .
The "Wiimote", as I've heard it called, is a drastic change from jamming your digits repetitively in mostly the same places.
I think I would like the games more on the PS3 more, but the Wii console itself is more of a technology leap for the average home user.

It really depends what kind of games you're into. If your into really cool graphics then ps3 is where its at. However, the wii has really fun games. And the graphics are pretty good too.
My son got a wii for Christmas and I haven't seen him since.
For the money I think the wii is worth it. The ps3 for the money...I don't believe it to be worth it. Unless you are a hard core gamer. Id go with the Wii.

The nintendo Wii lives up to all of its hype and more. it is as innovative as it sounds, it's interactive, it's got a better line up of games, it's family friendly, but most importantly, it's FUN!!!!
The PS3, while it may have "amazing graphics" ( on Hi- def TV's only. do the research), the wii's got it beat out pretty much everywhere else. the only worthwhile game on the PS3 right now is Resistance and even that one is being obliterated by glitches, wallet shattering price, and glorified DVD player ( blu-ray) that no one really wants but gets charged hundreds extra for anyway. Besides no one actually wants a PS3. they just wanna make $1000 off of eBay.

I'd say they're both equally good for different reasons. The Wii is affordable, innovative, and has "Zelda: Twilight Princess". While the PS3 has phenomenal graphics, and loads of multimedia capabilities.
