My son is 6 years old and very into pokemon cards, but doesn't really know what to do with them besides collect them. What is the significance of the HP, weakness, resistance, retreat etc..
Does anyone know a good website to refer to?

there is a list of all the cards here - http://www.psypokes.com/tcg/index.php

here is a page that shows you how to play -> http://www.ehow.com/how_13581_play-pok%C3%A9mon-card.html

and a site that i think is much more detailed in teaching you how to play-> http://www.sierrascollectibles.com/pokemon_rules.htm

if a pikachu can do an attack that causes 10 damage to your metapod that has ...say, 50 HP (health points) then after the attack, the metapod will only have 40 HP

when it get's zero HP, the metapod faints

if my metapod is weak to fire, and has say... 80 hp, and your charmander uses a flame attack that causes 20 damage, it will do double damage, and cause 40 of my HP to go away (i'll have 40 HP left)

if my squirtle is strong against fire, and has 40 hp, and your charmander uses a fire attack that causes 20 damage, it will only do half damage to my squirtle, because he's resistant to fire. therefore, my squirtle will only lose 10 HP from the attack, and will be left with 30 hp

when you retreat, you are taking your main fighting pokemon (you only fight with one at a time, usually) off the action seat, and putting them onto the bench, to put another pokemon in the action seat. in order to use attacks, you need energy cards attached to your pokemon. it will also cost some energy cards to flee. cards provide info on how many energy cards are needed.

if an attack requires one (orange fist) "fighting" energy and one (gray star) "normal" energy - you can use a lightning or any other energy instead of the normal, that only means that you need at least one fighting energy attached in order to use that attack

There is a trading card game of Pokemon. You put down Pokemon, attach energy to them to allow them to attack. To win, defeat 6 pokemon or destroy the enemies benched pokemon. Strategy is good and if you can set up some combos you've won the game.

There is a purely fun arrangement of the Pokemon. There was
a gameboard started by Jackie Chan for the peaceful visiting
time of children to his clients saunas, meditation gardens, and
hotel art repositories. When shopping for the best art the
clients found taking their children with them helped especially
bright suggestions when they had played a set of games like
tarot reading with the pokemon cards. The story has over 50
chapters of prevention of damage to the home and garden.
These stories like burying dragon bugs when they became so
hungry to eat the house went into pacifist modes to come up
with time frames that signified they were grown old. Using
these stories the children had very positive ideas to add new
plants. Try this story http://www.pokemonelite2000.com

Binary trading is notoriously risky but if you follow a special method I've learned you can earn good money at almost no risk. This is the site I use: ( http://forexsignal.kyma.info ) I definitely recommend subscribing to this site in particular. I was a bit weary of binary trading from all the bad hype they receive but this site is pretty legit. This course explain everything you need to start a very profitable trading activity. Remember never invest 100% of your capital into any one security and never have 100% of your capital invested and a good understanding of the rules

the best trading software http://tradingsolution.info
i have attended a lot of seminars, read counless books on forex trading and it all cost me thousands of dollars. the worst thing was i blew up my first account. after that i opened another account and the same thing happened again. i started to wonder why i couldn,t make any money in forex trading. at first i thought i knew everything about trading. finally i found that the main problem i have was i did not have the right mental in trading. as we know that psychology has great impact on our trading result. apart from psychology issue, there is another problem that we have to address. they are money management, market analysis, and entry/exit rules. to me money management is important in trading. i opened another account and start to trade profitably after i learnt from my past mistake. i don't trade emotionally anymore.
if you are serious about trading you need to address your weakness and try to fix it. no forex guru can make you Professional trader unless you want to learn from your mistake.
